Amazon expansion heads down under

Amazon is holding job fairs at several fulfilment centres around the United States, including the Romeoville facility, in an attempt to hire more than 50,000 workers.
This is what Australian consumers can expect if the retailing giant launches its physical presence with its first warehouse, rumoured to be in the Melbourne suburb of Dandenong South, opening later this year.
Estimates predict that Amazon will take a $12 billion chunk of Australia’s retail sector within the next decade, helping founder Jeff Bezos regain the title of world’s richest man.
