Two men used a replica pistol to threaten a person in their Lower Hutt home, police say.
Police arrested the men, aged 31 and 32, a short distance from the Lower Hutt home after being called just after midnight, detective senior sergeant Martin Todd said. During the arrest, the officers found a replica pistol, he said.
The two Lower Hutt men are to appear in the Hutt Valley District Court charged with aggravated robbery. The 31-year-old is also charged with possession of a meth pipe and an offensive weapon. NZN
