The NZ Outdoors Party has entered the election scene, saying it represents the interests of more than a million people.
The party has been around since the beginning of the year.
It has registered with the Electoral Commission and is putting up list candidates.
“We have a solid membership base and the best environmental credentials of all the parties contesting the 2017 general election,” co-leader David Haynes said.
“We represent the interests of over 1.3 million Kiwis who tramp, fly fish, kayak, hunt, shoot, fish, swim, bike and love the outdoors.” NZN
