The man accused of the murder of Waikato mother-of- three Kim Richmond has been granted bail.
Cory Scott Jefferies, 45, appeared in the High Court at Hamilton this morning, where his bail application was approved.
Jefferies, a dairy farmer, was in a long-term relationship with 42-year-old
Ms Richmond when she disappeared in July last year.
It is alleged the pair had an altercation at a social gathering before he killed
Her body was recovered from nearby Lake Arapuni last month after police divers found her missing Ford Ranger 6m below the surface.
Jefferies has entered a plea of not guilty to murder and was further remanded in custody until his next court appearance on October 24. NZN
