Air New Zealand has confirmed Hollywood celebs Katie Holmes and Cuba Gooding jnr will appear in their new safety video.
Ahead of tomorrow’s launch, the national carrier confirmed the celebs’ appearance in the new video after a series of behind-the-scenes clips were posted on social media.
A spokesman said New Zealand singer-songwriter Gin Wigmore would also appear in the clips, as well as flight attendants Kobi and Josh.
Air New Zealand general manager of global brand and content marketing Jodi Williams said the new video was built to showcase more of New Zealand to the world.
“Following the success of our last safety video Summer of Safety which was shot in Northland and has had more than 7.6 million views, we wanted to showcase more of our country’s cities and regions in our next safety video instalment to help encourage visitors to those areas and drive economic benefit,” she said.
“Our safety videos have earned a global reputation so it’ll be great to have eyes from around the world on more of our stunning landscapes and attractions.”
Air NZ is known for nabbing big name stars for its high profile safety videos that air before take-off.
Recent clips have used Bear Grylls, Sports Illustrated swimsuit models, Richard Simmons and Rachel Hunter.
Collectively, the clips have generated more than 108 million views. NZME
