Calendar details Coast events

The parents created the calendar after struggling with the lack of information on Coast events from one complete source. The initial idea involved a listing on the regional website www.westcoastnz.com, in the West Coast Messenger and in the quarterly district council rates letters. Funding and support was given by Development West Coast. Ms Piner said she had been impressed by the number of events in the region. “I had no idea before working on the calendar exactly how much actually goes on, particularly in the smaller towns and districts.” Anyone wanting to list an event can contact events@westcoastnz.com.
