Two players and a coach were yesterday awarded top honours for their service to West Coast junior rugby league.
Rabahn Sopp, left, was named senior schoolboy player of the year, Paul Gibson coach of the year and Henry Gibson junior player of the year.
Sopp, who plays for Suburbs, was a member of the West Coast 15s team and gained selection in the South Island 15s side as prop.
He was named that team’s most dedicated player, while at home he was named Suburbs’ best forward and senior player of the year.
Paul Gibson coached the Waro-rakau under-9s and was successful at coaching at West Coast level.
Henry Gibson played for the Waro-rakau under-12s and also represented West Coast.
