ANZ regional manager Graham Moody officially opens the new premises for the Hokitika branch yesterday with manager Donna May, left, and regional general manager Wayne Tippet. Customers, staff and contractors involved on the redevelopment of the former Driftwood Cafe attended a morning tea to celebrate the opening, and the end to a 63-week stint of working out of container-type accommodation behind the former National Bank premises, in Weld Street. Mr Tippet said the new premises were seismically safe and secured the bank’s investment in Hokitika. An ATM will be operational on the Revell Street frontage later this week.
